Welcome To;
Every week, we meet to taste and enjoy soup. That's it, as simple as it get's. We just love soup, we love everything about it.
We Love Making It!
We Love Smelling It!
We Love Tasting It!
We Love Talking About It!
Hi, I am G-Mar, as in Grandma! And I am the founder member of the Soup Club. What started off as a simple bowl of soup for myself for a hearty Sunday lunch, has now grown into a membership of 1000's. Well, 7 actually.
My quiet Sunday lunch, quickly grew into a regular weekly event attended via a self invitation from my beautiful family.
We now enjoy meeting and discussing the merits of every soup.

Cream of Asparagus is the clear leader, however, version 2 is under review as the rules of the soup club may have been breached in this regard. Check out the rules here..
G-Mar Is The Head Chef With The Best Score To Date With Fin a close 2nd taking thart place from Neil
Gmar's Roasted Carrot & Fennel is lagging behind, nobody liked that so lets make sure we don't have that one again.!
So there is no doubt whatsover that this is a favourite and its extremely nice, thats why it scored so well, however, in the spirit of the soup club mission and rules (check the page out at the top of the screen), it is believed that the soup was in contravention of thevery values and mission that the soup club members sign up to when they join. The mission of the club is to bring creativity, innovation and flair to its members and to allow those to experience flavours from around the globe, challenging taste buds and opening up creative thinking. It is therefore likely that Gmar's Cream of Asparagus #2 will be deducted one point by way of penalty. This will be shared with members at the next meeting.
Who would have thought that Fin could pull it off. This was a fantastic soup that Fin apparently did all on his own with no help from his mum. Well done and it tasted great. A slightly thicker soup which was very more'ish. A good first attempt at submitting a tasting for the soup club.
Neil is well known for his Hot N Sour soup and this one certainly didn't disappoint although Neil had highlighted to the group that he could have done better. It was lovely to see the rest of the group supporting Neil and providing the encouragement to make a better soup in the future..!!
A classic, beaitifully prepared soup created with love by Gmar. Very tasty and full of flavour. The consistency was just right with a balance between blended vegtables and smaller chunks of tomato.
It was great to see the first of our younger members making an effort to deliver a soup that didn't disappoint. Well presented and a mix of hearty ingredients and a lovely brothe, this soup was a great first attempt from one of our young members Emma. Accompanied by some lovely bread, this was a great effort which all members enjoyed.
This soup was gorgeous and received the biggest score so far. A very tasty soup, with chunks of asparagus which was very creamy and hearty. By far the best soup tasted to date and one which brought a smile to everyone's face.
